The Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Exam is an open competitive exam conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) for recruiting candidates to various posts in several departments and Ministries of the Government of India. The exam is conducted on a yearly basis and is perhaps one of the largest recruitment exams of the country, challenged only by the UPSC Civil Services Exam and certain other popular banking exams.
