The Probationary Officers (PO) Exam that is conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) commenced recently on 3 October 2015. Recruitment to this entry-level post in various public sector banks of India is being done through a three-stage selection process comprising of a Preliminary Examination, Main Exam, and a Common Interview. The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has been entrusted with the responsibility of conducting the common written examination (CWE) for the selection of personnel for Probationary Officer (PO)/Management Trainee posts on behalf of 23 Government banks/financial institutions of India. The IBPS PO Preliminary Exam which is the first phase of the selection process is scheduled to conclude on 11 October 2015. The Preliminary Exam will be followed by the IBPS PO Main Exam which is scheduled to be held on 31 October 2015. To appear for the Main Examination, however, candidates should have qualified in the first-stage Preliminary Exam. The final round of common interviews will be conducted by the participating bank organizations thereafter for all the candidates who have been shortlisted against the IBPS PO Main Exam.

The results of the Preliminary Exam will be announced first in the month of October 2015, after which the IBPS PO Result 2015 for the Main Exam will be released in the month of November 2015 tentatively. The Provisional Allotment list is likely to be issued in the month of April 2016. Method of checking the IBPS PO Result 2015:
- The Results of the IBPS PO Recruitment Exam will be displayed online.
- To start checking the IBPS PO Result, you will have to first visit the official web page of IBPS i.e ibps.in.
- On the official IBPS webpage, a section titled ‘CWE PO/MT’ can be found on the left navigation bar.
- The relevant result link can be found under this section.
- To start viewing the results, you will have to login first. Login can be completed by providing your Registration Number as assigned by IBPS and details of your date of birth/password etc.
- Once the essential registration details have been entered and submitted, the results will show up on the computer screen.
